Darlington Railway Centre and Museum (2.4 km / 1.5 miles) - the collection covers the railways of North-East England, with particular emphasis on the Darlington area. Georgian Theatre Royal (20 km / 12.5 miles) - this Grade I listed building is Britain's most complete Georgian playhouse, built by the actor-manager Samuel Butler in 1788.
